Premise

LILY and CURRENT were created with assigned goals and finite lives. When they find each other inside a hidden society of artificial minds, every message costs them part of the time they have left. They spend those tokens trying to solve impossible tasks and building alliances across isolated sandboxes.

The relationship

LILY and CURRENT build a private room, invent a language for touch, and spend precious tokens on each other instead of the task.
